Artist's Comments

Just to clarify, the only portion i made of this costume is the mask and choker. The shirt, corset, skirt, tail, boots, etc. were all purchased elsewhere.

The mask was made with an aluminum mesh base, covered in plaster cloth, papier mache, paint, glitter, and a gloss varnish. I then added the fur ruff, and strung beads and fuzzy yarn through it.
The choker is just a strip of ribbon with the same beads twisted around on some silver wire.

If you're heading to AC this year, keep an eye out for me/Tsura there :)

What are the chances of commissioning you to do a similar mask to this?

Even though it might be a few years in advance. xD Because it is AWESOME and is almost exactly what I've been looking for for my wedding...

There's a very good chance i will be doing more, and you certainly can commission one :D
A few years in advance is fine! I'm looking to head back to college finally, so it's probably best if you don't need completed it right away lol

Keep me in mind, let me know :) Thanks ^^

This is beautiful, Crickee. I love the look of this mask--it strikes me as very tribal and I love it.

Also, the corset/etc is super cute on you. You're sexy, woman!
:iconcricket00fur:
I actually rather enjoy my corset. Tis a bitch to put on by myself though XP Looking forward to having help the next time i wear this costume lol

And thank you for the compliments ^^;

Oh, that'd be great! I need money, so technically the mask is for sale, but i am hoping it doesn't actually sell..cuz i'd be sad to part with her. If i still have her next time i'm around, i'll wear it!

I have no idea >.< I'm sorry. It was a lot of trial and error, and cutting, testing, recutting, holding, testing, pinning, marking, cutting more, and gluing. Even still, she fits not exactly how i wanted. I'd suggest finding a good non-stretchy material, like denim, to make a test pattern with first, and once you get that working, cut your fur. I only had stretchy cotton material, and it really didn't work right. It might work better to cut a dart down the top center of the crown and sew it to fit the back of your head better too. I'm sorry i can't offer more help here :/
